PR: FOOD DRIVE FOR PARAMUS RESIDENTS

FOOD DRIVE FOR PARAMUS RESIDENTS

The Paramus Board of Health along with the Paramus Community Pantry and the Paramus High School Group “Neighbors helping Neighbors” will be sponsoring a Food drive on Saturday, October 21st from 10:00AM – 2:00PM.   The Food Drive will be held at the Affordable Housing and Veterans Affairs building located at 105 North Farview Avenue. Look for a tent where the students and volunteers will collect non-perishable items for our residents in need.

We are in need of the following items to stock our Pantry:  toothbrushes, toothpaste, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish detergent, deodorant, and non-perishable unexpired food, like peanut butter and jelly, chef-boyardee canned goods and tuna fish.  However, we will accept any unexpired non-perishable donations.

If you would like to donate and can’t make it to the drive, a black bin will be set up outside the building. We thank you in advance for helping your community and neighbors in need.
